Mr.Henk Kleijn currently lives in Den Helder, Netherland. As a dutch indonesian, he was caught as a Prisoner of War during the World War II in Indonesia by the Japanese Invader. He was then sent to Nagasaki in a forced labor camp only to be liberated after the atomic bombing of the city.

The survivor of the atomic bombing, Kazumi Yamada, visited Dresden to share his stories at Military History Museum, international friends of Dresden and school children at Dresden. He also spoke at Stadt, Kultur, Frieden conference panel organized by the city of Dresden.
